If the scope of the move differs from the information originally provided, additional charges may apply.
Estimates and Pricing
Moving quotes may be provided based on the details supplied by the customer. Estimates are not guaranteed final prices and may change if:
The volume of items is greater than described
Additional services are required
Access conditions differ from those originally described
Unexpected circumstances arise during the move
Final pricing will be based on the actual services performed.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to provide accurate information regarding the move, including:
Addresses
Access conditions (stairs, elevators, long carry distances, etc.)
Large or specialty items
Parking availability
Customers are responsible for ensuring walkways are clear and safe for movers to perform services.
Customers should also secure and properly pack fragile or valuable items unless packing services have been arranged.
Prohibited or Restricted Items
Moving 409 does not transport hazardous or illegal items, including but not limited to:
Flammable materials
Explosives
Illegal substances
Hazardous chemicals
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items being moved comply with safety regulations.
Delays
Moving 409 strives to maintain scheduled service times; however, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, previous job delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Moving 409 is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control.
Damage and Liability
Moving 409 takes reasonable care when handling customer belongings. However, minor cosmetic damage may occur during moving due to tight spaces, staircases, or structural limitations.
Moving 409 is not responsible for:
Items packed by the customer
Pre-existing damage to furniture or property
Damage caused by improper packing
Items not disclosed prior to the move
Customers should report any concerns regarding damage before movers leave the job site.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Failure to complete payment may result in additional fees or legal collection efforts.
Cancellations
Cancellations and refunds are subject to the Moving 409 Booking and Refund Policy available on our website.
